I LOVE bare escentuals!!! i use it everyday! and i've converted all my girl friends. its lightweight and feels like u arent wearing anythng. the only thing i dont like about it is that its messy (powder gets everywhere!) and difficult to travel with, since u have to bring an assortment of brushes and all the little compacts of powder wherever u go. i've loved it so much, that i also use their eyeshadow and brow shadow!

i've only used their eyeshadow (i got it for free) and their nighttime powder treatment which i didn't like.  (gave it away to a friend)  the lady is cool (met her at an industry event)  but i hear good things about the product.

i use it every day, and i love it. really hides my pores, which are huge. i would definitely recommend it.

i loove bare escentuals too! i have the starter kit and the blush, concealer and eye shadows..the eye shadows i have are a little too sparkly.. you dont need to wear mineral veil..the lady in the store told me she doesnt wear it so i stopped..and the make up stays put.

i actually only use the concealer and blush for everyday..but that's just because i still dont wear that much make up..

you should get a few trials done bc some people are bad at color matching... i tell all my friends about it, too! :)

Dont do bare minerals until you've tried monave and/or everyday minerals. They are better than BM, and much cheaper! and you can order trial sizes for super cheap (free at EDM). I love this stuff. monave.com, everdayminerals.com

I reallllly want to try Bare E, but if you want a cheaper alternative, you can also try L'oreal's version, which I really like and which is my holdover until I get more $$$: currently -$, after graduation, hopefully $, in 5 years, maybe $$?  Anyways, you can buy it at CVS, Walmart, Target, etc and return it if it doesn't work out for you. They have good makeup policies. Also Physician's formula is my next try....

I've never personally tried Bare Escentuals, but I have also heard good things about that product line.  Let us know the results if you do get it!!
