| Countryside. (and Mineral Make-Up)
I never thought I'd say this...but I'd love to own and live in a country home sometime. The glitz and glamour of urban life no longer pull on me like they used to. My soul longs for the serene, peaceful lifestyle... a place to fully appreciate nature's beauty and to find reprieve from life's tensions.
I see now why folks have a city home and a "second" home... in the countryside or near the waters.
New Haven is no countryside. But it's definitely more quaint and "breathable" than New York.
Oh, and thanks to those who gave their two cents on mineral makeup. I ordered some samples from everydayminerals.com about a month ago and was very pleased with the product in the past month. So much so.. that I ordered the starter kit a couple days ago and am eagerly waiting to get the shipment!

| Bare Minerals.
Ladies - have any of you used bare minerals make up? If so, what do you think about it? I'm contemplating switching to Bare Minerals make up for every day use...

| Back in New Haven.
....but not for long! We take off for Chicago this Friday morning to attend a friend's wedding on Saturday the 11th. I'm wrapping up the final week of my summer internship and am currently taking a break from practicing my powerpoint presentation. We come back to New Haven the following Thursday the 16th and should be here until school starts up again on September 5th.
I've been reading a lot of novels this summer as a way of expanding my literary diet. It's been a good way to take a respite from all the business related readings from the past academic year. I just finished reading Charlotte Bronte's book Jane Eyre. A great book indeed. Particularly in the middle chapters, I couldn't put the book down! Now that I finished reading this, I'll either read another Bronte book or rummage through my novel collection and find another story to dive into. If you have any good suggestions on novels, let me know!
